projects The Grand Alderney
This site of was originally occupied by a prominent 1930’s Art Deco fronted hotel, which has since been demolished following a fire in the 1980’s. We were approached to partner with Doug Hamon Architects to develop the design for our mutual clients. The clients brief was to redevelop the site to provide new housing comprising a total of 33 units, consisting of 23 private for sale apartments and dwellings, and 13 social housing units. The design of the new dwellings draws upon the Art Deco style of the original hotel creating a modern, contemporary development. The scheme is currently being considered for planning approval.
